A Remarkable 2025

For Gronard, 2025 was more than just another year on the calendar: It was a year in which ideas became products, partnerships grew, and our vision of sustainable mobility became a new reality.

BAU 2025 Trade Fair: Experience the City of the Future Live

January got off to a strong start: Our participation in the BAU 2025 trade fair in Munich was a resounding success. For the second time, we had the opportunity to present ourselves as a manufacturer and retailer of sustainable street furniture and bicycle parking infrastructure at Europe’s leading construction trade fair.

And not just with a traditional trade show booth, but with an interactive table that brought our modular “Made in Germany” products to life. Here, visitors could experience in an engaging way how our solutions make cities more livable—from canopies and bike racks to urban furniture.

We’d like to thank everyone for the many inspiring conversations and are already looking forward to 2027, when we’ll open the next chapter at BAU.

Over 1,400 projects & 240 installations: Getting Germany on bikes

The year 2025 was also a resounding success in terms of project implementation: Over 1,400 projects were realized in collaboration with municipalities, companies, and partners, with over 240 installations completed.

Every single project brings us one step closer to our big goal: strengthening Germany as a cycling nation and making the mobility transition visible.

Whether in urban centers, rural areas, or at transportation hubs, our solutions provide space for sustainable mobility and encourage the shift to cycling.

EU-funded project with the Technical University of Munich: A flagship project

A very special highlight this year:

The conclusion of our one-year test phase as part of the EU-funded project “Creating NEBourhoods Together”, a model project of the New European Bauhaus (NEB).

In collaboration with the Technical University of Munich (TUM), our mobility hubs were tested under real-world conditions, further developed, and scientifically monitored.

New products in our portfolio: 5 smart solutions for urban spaces

Product development? We’ve got it covered: This year, we were able to add five new products to our portfolio. Developed with functionality, design, and sustainability in mind.

Here’s a brief overview:

A look ahead: What does 2026 hold?

There is much to look forward to at Gronard in the coming year as well:

New leadership, strong connections

At the turn of the year, Sofia Gronard, previously Head of Communications, will take over the management of the company alongside her brother Felix Gronard, marking the third generation of leadership.

They bring fresh perspectives, new ideas, and a deep understanding of the values of our family business.

Together, they will continue to lead the Production & Sales divisions with a clear vision and a strong spirit of innovation.

Product development: What’s next?

There are also several developments in the pipeline.

Our product development team is already working on several enhancements and entirely new concepts that will debut in 2026.

Here’s a sneak peek: It will be versatile, it will be modular, and, as always, it will be 100% Gronard.
