A Look Back at BAU 2023

BAU 2023 is now over, and we at Gronard GmbH look back on an extremely successful trade fair.

From April 17 to 22, we presented our innovative product configurators for bicycle racks, bicycle shelters, and urban furniture, and welcomed a large number of visitors to our booth. In addition to the opportunity to test our bicycle repair station and our bicycle shelter with double-deck parking racks in person, we were also able to answer visitors’ questions about planning bicycle parking facilities by demonstrating traffic lane widths and parking space depths for various products in real time.

Furthermore, we had the opportunity to present our latest urban furniture concept, the Parklet, live for the first time. The Parklet is a modular urban furniture system designed for public spaces on former car parking areas to create social spaces in urban environments. The modular system is based on a sturdy frame construction with weather-resistant decking timber. Safety railings, wooden benches, and integrated bicycle leaning rails can be added modularly.

The presentation of the Parklet at the BAU 2023 trade fair was received very positively. We look forward to continuing to develop and expand the use of this product in the coming months and years.

We are delighted that so many interested visitors found their way to our booth. Not only were we able to have engaging conversations and make new connections, but we also had the pleasure of welcoming many of our existing customers.

We are overwhelmed by the positive response to our products and innovative product configurators, and we would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth. Whether visitors came with questions, for personal advice, or simply for a friendly conversation — we truly appreciated every interaction.

Overall, BAU 2023 was a huge success for us, and we are already looking forward to the next trade fair. Until then, we will of course remain available as usual and are always happy to support you with our products and services.
