NEBourhood Hubs München-Neuperlach
As part of the NEBourhood Hubs – Creating NEBourhoods Together initiative, two multifunctional parklets were realized in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich for the Munich-Neuperlach district. Funded by the European Union, the project aims to rethink public spaces and create sustainable, shared places for people to meet and spend time.
The project features two custom-designed parklets, each measuring 6 × 2 m. They are equipped with an accessible table and bench combination for wheelchair users, two loungers, wooden graffiti walls, a book exchange shelf, a Clorofilla Basic repair station, a Variocube locker system, Kappa® bicycle racks, and Aris Rohr Modular bicycle stands.
Planning, fabrication, installation, and commissioning were carried out by Gronard.
