Bicycle Parking Facility at Munich Central Station
A central bicycle parking facility for commuters and travelers was implemented in the Hirtenstraße area near Munich Central Station. The facility provides additional secure parking spaces in close proximity to the S-Bahn and long-distance rail services and helps reduce congestion on surrounding pedestrian and traffic areas.
The project features Easylift 500D double-deck bicycle parking systems, Kappa® bicycle racks, and the Aris Tube Modular and Tasos Cargo sheffield rack for cargo and specialty bicycles. The combination of these systems enables a variety of parking options while ensuring efficient use of space. A total of 256 bicycle parking spaces were created.
