Bike+Ride Facility at the Markt Schwaben S-Bahn Station
At the Markt Schwaben S-Bahn station, the bicycle parking facility was expanded and completely renovated at several locations. In addition to replacing existing facilities, additional capacity was created on newly developed areas north and south of the tracks, as well as in the parking lot area.
Easylift 500D double-deck parking racks, Kappa® bike racks, and BWA flat-roof bike shelters were used. The coordinated combination of these systems enables a clear layout of the locations, efficient use of space, and varying levels of parking quality depending on the area. A total of 388 bicycle parking spaces were created.
The planning and installation of the facility were carried out by Gronard.
