Parklet Werksviertel-Mitte
A custom-designed parklet was created for Werksviertel-Mitte in Munich, enhancing the public space with an inviting area for relaxation and social interaction. The design reflects the character of the district while combining a high-quality public space with functional bicycle infrastructure.
The parklet was powder-coated in RAL 2003 and features a two-part bench, a multifunctional table, and timber cladding. In addition, two Aris flat steel bicycle stands with protective strips made from untreated larch wood provide convenient and secure bicycle parking. The color scheme is inspired by the history of the former Pfanni site and blends harmoniously into the Werksviertel-Mitte district.
Planning and installation were carried out by Gronard.
